MCM launches its Minimally Invasive Surgery Unit
On 20 September 2025 MCM Comprehensive Specialized Hospital launched its Minimally Invasive Surgery Unit, expanding keyhole surgery for gynecologic conditions.

MCM Comprehensive Specialized Hospital (Korean Hospital) launched its Minimally Invasive Surgery Unit on Saturday, 20 September 2025.
Minimally invasive (laparoscopic) surgery is done through small incisions using a camera and fine instruments. For many gynecologic operations — removing fibroids or ovarian cysts, treating endometriosis, hysterectomy or managing an ectopic pregnancy — it can mean less pain, smaller scars and a quicker recovery.
For patients
Not every condition is suitable for keyhole surgery. Your gynecologist will explain whether it is an option for you, and what the risks and benefits are, before any decision is made.
